Holiday Dolls Cont.

I went to Toys R Us to see if they had those holiday dolls in stock - they did! They were mixed in with holiday stuff, for anyone who may want to look for them themselves.

They are TALL! The boxes are very skinny, definitely not designed for MIB display, but according to the back of Belle's box her skirt poofs out to like 14" or something. Also something I noticed on the back of Belle's box - there's an Ariel doll! Not sure why it appears that Toys R Us isn't carrying her, but the photo had Belle, Rapunzel, Cinderella AND Ariel, human in her pink dress. Naturally I forgot my camera at home but I definitely plan on going back for photos!

Anyway, Belle is gorgeous, I really like her and may end up buying her if she goes on sale. She's HUGE but so pretty and makes a great holiday decoration! Her face is very sweet and I think they did her dress/cloak very well.

I'm not a big fan of Rapunzel's face (she's not ugly, she just doesn't remind me of the movie Rapunzel), though her outfit is nice. I wouldn't want to unpack and repack her and all that hair up on a yearly basis anyway :P

I didn't really look at Cinderella for details the way I did the other two but I would say the stock photos are fairly decent representations of the real deal for each of them.

I would really like to see that Ariel doll though! You know, just out of curiosity. :)

Disney Princess Holiday Dolls

Toys R Us has new holiday princess dolls - Belle, Rapunzel and Cinderella - something interesting about these dolls is they're actually two feet tall! I think they look porcelain but the site has limited info on them and doesn't state what they are.

I think they look lovely and being 2', $39.99 is a fairly decent price, especially if they're porcelain instead of plastic.

Toys R Us has a zoom option for a closer look - just click here for Belle, here for Rapunzel or here for Cinderella!

I think they're very lovely, although I think Rapunzel's facepaint is too light (could be a stock photo thing though), and why does Cinderella's dress have green polka dots? Anyway, Belle's dress is awesome and I think she has a sweet face, so if I can find her in my local store to see her in person I may end up bringing her home. :)

Also worth noting, they're listed on the website under holiday decor, not dolls, so they may not be stocked in the doll section in stores.

Maleficent

In her box, looking amazing. :)

#3333! Check it! :) Three is my favorite number and she's my third doll so it's unusually exciting, lol.

Views from each side, with slip cover.

Close up, still packaged but no display box.

SHOES! :)

These dolls turn at the waist. Interesting, seeing as her knees aren't even jointed!

Focused on her, focused on her staff...

Meeting each other. Then they thought it'd be fun to dress up like each other!

Maleficent looks a bit like the Grinch dressed up as Santa Clause... but the Queen of Hearts is totally rocking Maleficent's gown!

... I Just Couldn't Help Myself

... I brought Designer Maleficent home!

I also got this cute sequined makeup bag that features Ursula, the Evil Queen, and the Queen of Hearts.

I also got the Evil Queen notebook. I got the Snow White one last year so now I have a matching set. :)

I'm very pleased with everything. I haven't had a chance to take photos yet - we've been busy with my grandparents anniversary party, but I should have time tomorrow or the next. :) She's GORGEOUS though! She looks fabulous next to the Queen of Hearts!

Cinderella Dolls on Sale

Disney Store has lots of Cinderella dolls and other toys on sale! A lot of them are 25% off along with many other Cinderella items, others are on sale with other dolls in their line.

16" Disney Animators Collection Doll - reg. $24.50, on sale for $18.37. DAC dolls are adorable! I absolutely love my Rapunzel and definitely recommend this line! They're definitely worth full price but on sale is even better. :)

17" Singing Princess - reg. $29.50, on sale for $20. I saw the 2011 dolls in person and they were all so lovely! I'm sure the 2012 versions are just as nice.

12" Mini Plush - reg. $9.50, on sale for $7.12 - I have the Belle in this line and gave the Snow White to my niece. My niece LOVES Snow White! I really like the smaller plush dolls because they're great for little little kids. My niece is about 5 months and can hold Snow White herself, and she's safe to be chewed on and rolled around with. As for myself, I think Belle is just darling and a cute little addition to my collection.

21/22" Plush Dolls (Cinderella, Prince Charming, Wedding Cinderella) - reg. $19.50, on sale for $14.62

5" Mini Doll Set - reg. $19.50, on sale for $14.62. These little doll sets are so cute! I love when they come out with sets like this.

12" Doll Gift Set - reg. $79.50, on sale for $59.62 - includes Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, and her stepmother and stepsisters - Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella! Also includes two extra outfits for Cinderella and a dress form. AWESOME set! Great price too, about $20 off.

Tea Party Play Set - reg. $24.50, on sale for $18.37. A cute little tea set with a teapot that opens into a carriage for fun play with Cinderella, Prince Charming and Fairy Godmother figurines.

Doll and "Happily Ever After" Carriage Set - reg. $59.50, on sale for $44.62. Includes carriage, horse, and 12" Cinderella wedding doll. Looks like a cute little set, however the reviews on DisneyStore.com sound like the carriage has issues, but if you really want to try it out on sale is the way to go.

Castle Magical Play Set - reg. $89.50, on sale for $67.12. Castle has magical sounds and lights and includes figurines of wedding Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, and little mouse friends.

The Queen of Hearts

My beautiful Queen of Hearts arrived! She's absolutely stunning and I highly recommend her! Her red bodice is made of a very soft materiel, and her ruffled skirt and collar are more stiff to keep shape. Her accessories include a gold crown with imprinted hearts scattered on it, red opera gloves that match her bodice, gold shoes, and her little heart shaped staff held on via a rubber band. Her hair is styled in a fancy bun with a single pin curl twirling down the side of her face. Her face paint "makeup" is rather light, save for her black "eyeliner" and real lashes. Her "lipstick" is applied in the shape of a heart. Beside her left eye is a little black heart.

Adore her little curl...

It takes a lot to look this fabulous.

"Someeeeday, my prince shall come..."  I couldn't help myself. I know, I know, she's a heartless villain who beheads people at the drop of a hat... but man can this doll grace the princess pose! Tehe!

The back of her collar is shaped like a heart; and here you can see the little black heart painted by her eye.

"A-whoooo are a-youuuu?"

Ruffles and details and cute little shoes!

"OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!"
